Why PURE NADH contains excipients – and why that’s a good thing
Share
A frequently asked question is:
“If PURE NADH is truly pure, why does it contain other ingredients?”
That is a valid concern – and it comes from the desire for transparency. The answer lies in a crucial, often overlooked aspect of supplement production: stability.
NADH is effective – but extremely sensitive
NADH (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide + Hydrogen) plays a central role in mitochondrial energy production. However, in its raw form, NADH is very unstable. It begins to degrade when exposed to oxygen, moisture, light, or heat – which can happen during manufacturing, transport, or even storage at home.
To preserve its effectiveness and ensure you receive the full benefit of every capsule, NADH must be stabilized. This is where pharmaceutical excipients come in – not as fillers, but as essential protectors of the active ingredient.
The two additional ingredients – and why we use them
Microcrystalline Cellulose (295 mg)
A plant-based fiber commonly used in pharmaceutical formulations. It helps maintain the structure of the capsule content, protects NADH from moisture absorption, and prevents clumping. It also ensures a smooth powder flow during capsule filling, which is crucial for precise and reliable dosing.
Magnesium Stearate (5 mg)
Used in minimal amounts, magnesium stearate acts as a flow agent that reduces friction and prevents heat generation during capsule production – both of which could destabilize NADH. It ensures that each capsule is filled evenly and cleanly without compromising the integrity of the active ingredient.
No coatings. No binders. No hidden ingredients.
Some supplement manufacturers address NADH instability with chemical binders, synthetic coatings, or proprietary blends. We chose a more transparent and natural approach.
PURE NADH contains no preservatives, artificial colors, coatings, or unnecessary additives. Every ingredient is declared and has a clear, essential function – to deliver and protect NADH.
As the name suggests, PURE NADH stands for both the purity of the active ingredient and the integrity of the entire formulation. There is nothing to hide – and nothing to compromise.
